review 1: Wow! A very satisfying conclusion (satisfying enough that I flew through it in three days). I am VERY pleased that all of the loose ends from previous books were tied up and especially happy that the time travel things that got slightly complicated towards the end made perfect sense. Overall, this was a solid 4 star series - nothing terrible about it but nothing making it the best series ever - but this last installment definitely brought up my overall opinion of it and I am very happy about it :) Still so conflicted about shipping Gwydion/Gideth though... *sigh*
review 2: It started with so many interesting ingredients like the time traveling, secret society, seeing dead people, that could make a nice, complicated mystery, but in the end those are all discarde
... mored, used as side stories for a boring love story with the standard teenaged happily ever after phantasy. The other ingredients are hardly even used and don't come together for the solution of the book. less
