review 1: I received an advanced copy for my honest review.Amazing , Sexy Romance and lots of action!!!K.F.Breene is an outstanding author. If you haven't heard of this series, its based on a different type of vampire who protects humans. Also there is witches, humans with magic and lots and lots of chemistry and action. This series will make you swoon, laugh and go giddy for all the alpha males. This is one of my favourite series and authors. If you like things that go bump in the night, then this series is for you! Stefan and Sasha are heading to the Council, they know they are heading into the lions den and even though they are strong together and with the help of Dominicous and Toa and others who stand behind them, they have to prove to the Council that they are worthy. I... morets just pure adrenaline reading what happens next. This continues from Demons and it will not disappoint. All your favourites will be back, and I love each and everyone of them. Charles the crazy, nutty and funniest character that I have ever read, and Jonas who has been secretly sneaking in my heart and thoughts. Tim the alpha shifter even got an eye brow raise and he knows why!Sasha is a Black power witch and is Stefan's mate. In order for her to prove her worth to become Stefans Mage for his clan, she needs to be in front of the powerful Council. Stefan wants to get higher in his clan, and in order for him to do so he needs to fight to the death to get it. K.F Breene makes her characters come alive while reading. You can envision yourself being in Stashas battle. (Just a little nickname I call them.) I am secretly hoping with all the flirting and comments to see Ann and Charles get a story going. A standing ovation to K.F. Breene in bringing Darkness and things that go bump in the night to her fans!
review 2: Wow! I knew this was going to be good but blimey...!!This one is all about Sasha...and it's really nice to see her shine. In the previous books we've already met and fallen in love with all the main players, so for me this one felt more about the story. I loved all the magic, power and danger sizzling all the way through this book; right from the get go I knew I was in for some fierce action.I adore how much her crew love Sasha, even if they are too manly to say it. Their actions win out every time. Jonas...wow! The more I see of him the more I fall in love!The only reason I've given this 4 stars and not 5? Charles! I'm sorry, I know he's a lot of reader's favourite character but to me, he's starting to feel like a cliche. Some of his actions, although relatively light hearted in the first couple books are now making me cringe a little. Which is unfortunate because most of the time he is super sweet!I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and fellow readers!Counting down the days to #6!! less
