review 1: I read this book after I have read the last book (The One) and I wish I read it before the 3rd book because there were some tiny parts that I had to search my brain for to remember. I L-O-V-E The Prince! I wish there was more of it! I was actually pretty disappointed about how little of The Prince there was. The Guard was ok and it was interesting to see Aspen's point of view but because I ship Murica (Maxon and America XD) more than Amerpen (America and Aspen), I just enjoyed The Prince more. I also loved the extras and the family trees were really interesting. I read this in 2 days easy. DONT READ THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVENT READ THE 1ST AND 2ND BOOK IN THE SELECTION SERIES!
review 2: Loved the series but I'm really disappointed in these short stories. The back o... moref the book makes it sound like it takes place before the selection happens, like you get to see more of Aspen and America and how they used to be and more about Maxon' s past and 'another girl in his life.' That girl takes up about half a page and the rest is what we've already read more from Aspen' s and Maxon' s perspective. Waste of time, didn't feel it added anything to what we've already read. less
