review 1: SHE FINALLY KNOWS!!! And draws the wrong conclusion from it OF COURSE!! Finally, this is the installment we have all been waiting for, Iku and her Prince, but then she doubts everything. OMG she is killing me. Where is all this insecurity coming from?? But Komaki saves the day, as usual. Gotta love that dude. So yeah, this installment is definitely my favorite so far in the series. We see major character/relationship changes...Iku/Dojo, Tezuka/Shibazaki, Komaki/Marie and I am loving them all! And of course when it ends I am damn near devastated and now I have to wait until next year for volume 9! ARGH. And holy crap, the tiny comics at the beginning of each chapter that put Iku and Dojo into the story of Cinderella was freaking ADORABLE!
review 2: This vol
... moreume finally shows openly who was behind Iku being put into the hot seat in front of an inquiry - Tezuka's older brother who wants to force him to join his group (he thought Iku was Tezuka's girlfriend). We are shown how effectively Tezuka and beautiful, sarcastic and intelligent Shibazaki work together to find evidence for all of this - the blonde guy who had been meeting Shibazaki off and on for a few volumes also worked for Tezuka's brother - and we get a lot more insight into her own view of herself and what she considers her potential for love. But the piece de resistance at the center of this volume (as if the hilarious front cover didn't already give it away) is Tezuka's brother, realising that Iku is much too direct to give in to blackmail or push his brother to join him, trying to do the most damage he can out of spite and confronting her with the fact that Instructor Dojo is her Prince!Iku's feelings are not helped by the fact that Instructor Dojo shows up to save her from the restaurant where she was being grilled (figuratively) by Tezuka's brother. There is a hysterical and very in-character consoling scene (because Iku doesn't dare tell Dojo she now knows who he is - she thinks she has hurt him incredibly with holding up her Prince to him before and that he hates her).He thinks she's reeling from the nefarious machinations of Tezuka's brother, so he sits her down on a bench (because he can't reach her head in high heels) and hugs her to his chest, so she can cry freely. AWWWWWWWWWWWW.And the last regular chapter had just a small interim plot of Shibazaki and Iku in sexy college clothing helping to catch a pervert molester in the library. Which probably was just included so Dojo could tell Iku how great she looked as bait ^^. less

Adorable. Best volume yet. Shibazaki is probably my favorite character at this point.
