review 1: This author is incredible. I DON"T KNOW how she does it. Recurring themes like incest, rape, multiple partners, loss of dignity that normally would upset, traumatize and gross me out ----prevents me from throwing her books away. i just have to see how it ends. Derekica Snake is so good she actually makes you UNDERSTAND and empathize with Stockholm syndrome. You will actually fall in love with the captor/abuser and at some point root for them to be together. No other author gives me this reaction. I am usually a fan of HEA and Mary Calmes, Lynn Hagen and Stormy Glenn stories with the feel good vibe.
review 2: 4,5 not my thing but still drew me in the story. It wasn't my type of book, but it is well written and writer made me feel character's feelings - especially
... morethe sadness and hurt. Could have been a little more fluent and with less mistakes as it was sometimes hard to understand. Could have been more developed too (a little longer). It's pretty unique in both plot and characters. Not typical MM romance. The world is interesting and as of love - it is hard to say. Sometimes I wasn't sure there even was love. Lots of angst. less
