review 1: This urban fiction ‘Wife Extraordinaire' was not my cup of tea at all. The flow of sentence structure barely made the story believable. I felt the over indulgence of profanity, foul language and the overall characters and their pettiness is what kept me from the underlying story as a whole. That each one of these characters; Leon, Trice, Troy and Charlene were childishly insecure. Wife swapping in this day and age is too hard to believe with all the issues in dealing with another's idiosyncrasies and then to take that to another level by moving in with someone else's wife/husband. review 2: This book was very good. I listened to the audiobook version. The storyline and narrators really kept my attention. I must ... moresay, it was very different from what I expected. I felt like I knew what would happen, because no good could possibly come from the "situations" the couples were in. To my surprised and book heaven delight, the story took different turns that I didn't see up ahead.The only negative thing...well not negative, but Blank Stare moment is when the author just dropped you right off the cliff at the end..... I wasn't expecting it to end like that. So of course I have to read Book 2 and 3. But they aren't on audio yet...so the wait begins. less
