review 1: I liked the characters and it was a good book. It was a bit weird when Ryland disappeared to tutor Jason's boyfriend - why did it have to be so secretive? Personally, I am not a fan books where everyone is gay. The world isn't filled with gay people. There wasn't one straight character in this book, which bothered me. Nevertheless, it was a well written book and very enjoyable. I am not a fan of M/M paranormal, so this book didn't really capture me.
review 2: This book had a really interesting concept but for some reason was really hard for me to get through. It was a little confusing in parts and a little frustrating in that Arslan and Ryland seemed to be at cross purposes a lot of the time and had THE WORST communication. ... mored and while it wasn't my favorite Kim Dare book it wasn't a bad read at all. It was a good start to the rest of the series. less
