review 1: I really enjoyed this book. I liked the acting on instincts, natural predator type Werewolf rather than the more common super human who gets furry at will.Dylan was turned against his will and he is not happy being a Werewolf every full moon. He moves to the country to make his life easier and meets his neighbour Chris. The relationship between the too develops at a believable pace although I did have the urge to bang their heads together on occasion. Likeable side characters and a decently paced story made this a very enjoyable read.
review 2: Have you ever had a book that you couldn’t physically put down? Ignoring the entire world except for the words on your page. All sounds are put into the background. Coming out at the end of the book and somehow five h... moreours have gone by. You have to pee so bad it is hard to walk and it would have been anyway because both of you legs from hip down are asleep. You’re starving and shit, you had responsibilities that you just can’t quite feel guilty about not doing. This is exactly what happened with this book for me. Started it at school around noon and I finished around eight at night. I couldn’t stop reading during math. I had to compromise with myself. One page one equation. Two pages one equation… and soon the equations were taken out. Having teachers threaten to take my book from me is nothing new but this is the first time I probably would have thrown a hissy fit if they had actually done it. For me the only thing that really bothered me was when Chris would say Dude. For me it wasn’t needed and I don’t think he would be the kind who would say that. So why the hell are you still here reading this crappy review. Go read some yummy gay smut… just make sure you have done everything you needed to before starting this one. ;) less
