review 1: Overall, it was pretty good. But unfortunately it was not good enough for me to want to read the rest of the series when those books come out. There wasn't anything really wrong with this book but I just feel it wasn't something that required you to become involved with the charactersorthe plot. And that may sound weird to some but that's just how my mind works. Anyway, let me just say what really is the reason for this 3 star rating: I HATE love triangles. There. I said it, I was truthful. But wait folks, that's not all! Apart from any kind of romantic tension (that never got resolved BTW) once we got into the story and the plot started to pick up...the book was over! I was so disappointed. But don't just take my word for it. Read it for yourself and see if you like it or... more don't.
review 2: Really loved this read! I'm so happy to read an out-of-the-box NA that's not romance, but has a healthy dose of swooniness in it. The main character has so much grit and determination, and I loved her relationship with her best friend. Even though I'm dying to find out what happens between Aurora, Zane, and Sky, any frustration I had about that was totally swept away by the satisfying reveal of Sky and Zane's backgrounds. It was just enough to be a full story while leaving me salivating for the next! I can't wait! less
