review 1: I quite liked this book. I couldn't put it down as I was reading it. When I finished reading it I desperately wanted to read the next one, and knowing this book was published a few years prior I thought that should be an easy task. What my search yielded instead was, apparently this was only meant to be a two book series? If that's truly the case then the ending was terrible. I was happier with the ending of the first, so I can't help but find myself wishing I had never read this book.
review 2: This is one of the few young adult reincarnation books that I really personally like. The first book was a great kickoff to the series and I was definitely hooked. Thankfully the second book was everything it promised to be. From the writing style to the plot to th... moree characters and the romance. Everything was thought out very well and the characters fleshed out. The ending was definitely a twist I did not see coming and I was left hanging. I was frustrated and wanted more, but I was left thinking. Few authors are able to successfully accomplish a cliffhanger and MIller did a great job. Loved this book less
