review 1: Hmmm. I usually love this series. There was a big confession at the end, after 9 volumes of buildup. And yet I was strangely unsatisfied. I don't know, maybe my expectations of the romance were higher so that when it actually happened it was anticlimactic? Well, one volume left, so when it comes out in a few months I will see how the author plans to wrap everything up. The other 8 volumes were super gooey and wonderful, so I hope vol 10 redeems vol 9.
review 2: Don't know why I was unable to put this series away. The story is mediocre, but I think I have a compulsion to see a happy guy/girl get-together in the end. Thank goodness our two lovey-doveys - Rakuto and Sachie - have FINALLY confessed to each other. It was painful to watch them keep their feelings t... moreo themselves time again, volume after volume. Apparently there's just one volume to go, so I'm looking forward to the ultimate happy ending... less
