review 1: This book was amazing. I can't even begin to describe the beauty of the tale. I only hope there are more books in the series for me to read as well! (And a thank you to Victoria for purchasing the book for me). Malora is a strong and brave girl, and also the last knowing survivor of the People. I found it amazing that she held no grudges for the centaurs who were so happy that her entire family was killed. I am also surprised that she (the biggest female role) didn't end up with Orion (the biggest male role). There was some mention of a man named 'Lume', who is supposed to end up being her significant other. But since we haven't met him, this leads me to believe that there will be more books, starting a series. Fantastic job to the author!
review 2: I have to s
... moreay I don't think have have read many books on centaurs, at least none that were not about mythical creatures in general. But in Daughter of the Centaurs there is uch more adventure and excitement than fact and beliefs. Malora's world is torn apart with the death of her entire settlement, she is the very last. I very much like how this book takes place 'sometime in the future', it makes you think of how one day the world will end and something new will arise. The details of everything are so good you can get a clear picture in your mind of many scenes. The characters have been so well displayed that I felt as if I really knew them. This book is a must read and I am getting the second in the series tomorrow, I can't wait to see what happens next. less
