review 1: I was originally hesitant to pick up this book, as it is about a therapist dealing with a group of women who have been put in a court ordered anger management class. Wasn't sure I wanted to read about anger. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Got a lot of free therapy out of this and some good ideas for my own life (started a happiness journal, which I love). It's not a short read, but it's a good one.
review 2: I love Kris Radish and have read most of her books (still need to get to "a grand day to get lost"). She writes from the heart of women, I find her writing so empowering and hopefuls, even in situations where hope is lacking. This book deal with anger management, real anger with real consequences and serves a reminder that we are all just one mistake ... moreaway from being these women. Their stories are powerful and inspiring. It was so engaging that it was hard to put down. And then sometimes hard to pick back up because it's not a light read, this is heavy stuff. less
