review 1: This is the seventh book in the Domestic Diva Mystery series. It features Sophie Winston an events planner. The story starts at an event to raise money for animals run by Nina Reid Norwood. A dog goes missing, a worker at a cupcake store is murdered and someone is spreading the rumor that Sophie is having an affair with Spenser. Sophie of course is in the middle of all of this and starts trying to find answers. The book was an easy fast read.
review 2: Everybody loves cupcakes.....especially when they are for a great cause...rescue animals. Not only do the proceeds from the cupcakes go to help, but there are also "pup"cakes just for the pets!! Then things turn bad...Who killed the sweet baker? Who stole the miniature cupcake? Who's the handsome new person in... more town???? Guess you'll have to read the book to find out. All I can tell you is that I loved it and never did really figure out who the killer was until the very end. Krista Davis has done it again. less
