review 1: Daisy overload. She is the ultimate damsel, isn't she? I hate how Lily is always treated with the tough love routine, but everyone treats Daisy like a perfect china doll. I love Ryke and Lily's relationship. They can be great, so I really resent the fact that he feels he can't be there for Lily anymore because poor Daisy feels left out. This book should be called "Poor Daisy". She frustrates me.Reading this series the second time round made me realise how much Jonathan is not the villian. Lo, and especially Ryke, make him out to be the worst father ever when the Calloway parents are much worse in my eyes. Yes Jonathan is tough and abrasive but overall he is a good father and he is there for his sons. That Samantha Calloway is bitch. It's horrible how she treats Lily. Conno... morer kinda pissed me off in this book too.So they were the negatives. Positives- I enjoyed the story. Ryke and Lily had some nice moments. All the characters were involved (but not as much as in Kiss the Sky). Nice bromances and it made me excited to read more of Lily and Lo.
review 2: HOLY CRAP! I swear this has definitely become my series! I've had a hard time finding books in which i did not dislike the sequels, but these books are AMAZING! I definitely cannot stop reading, I find myself reading one right after the other in just 2 weeks!!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book, I've always rooted for Daisy and Ryke, so I could not wait to get to this book. Let me assure you, it definitely did not disappoint! I cried when I finished, just because I DID NOT want it to be over! I'm still here depressed wishing there was more about Ryke and Daisy's story!! One of my all time favorites for sure! less
