review 1: Okay, let me start by saying that this book was more bad than good. Why? Because it was shallow and the feelings I got when reading it, did not cut deep. The plot line was very silly as Tom and Kate had an INSTANT connection after she interviewed him and the pace their relationship went was not realistic even though it was repeatedly stated that "I know this is a fast paced relationship....blah, blah, blah". Giving this a three star review was me going out on a limb and being the hopeless romantic I am. Happy ending always get to me. If it was unhappy this would get two stars because I'm a nice person, so I like to think. Basically, I found this very unrealistic and overly sweet. Coming from me being overly sweet must mean it is loaded in sugar(I hate autocorrect, how does ... moresugar change to usher, thank god for re-reading) and candy.Plus, so not feeling her being an older women. Shoot me if you disagree( not realistically of course, no one hunt me down with a gun please) but I had a hard time feeling the romance of her being older. I guess I'm just old fashioned like that but guys should be the older one in the relationship and in the book it was just overplayed and overused. I got it the first time, don't remind me!
review 2: 1.5 starsWhile I'm usually a sucker for a good celebrity romance this one just didn't live up to my expectations. Kate, a 26-year old reporter for a teen magazine meets Tom, an 24 year old A-list actor when she interviews him for her magazine. When I first read the synopsis I thought it sounded like the kind of book I would like, unfortunately Kate, the narrator of the story is SO immature I just could not relate to or warm up to her in the slighest. By the end I was hoping for a breakup just because I didn't want poor Tom, (who I did like), to be stuck with an immature, whiny, 26-year old child who still lives at home with mom and dad, (and sees nothing wrong with that). less

The writing was kind of flat, the dialogs stilted. But I finished the book, so it's a two-star.
