review 1: I enjoyed this book. It's about the third horseman Limos the third horsewoman of the Apocalypse (Famine). The story goes through Limos and her quest to keep away from the Devil who wants her as his bride. For Limos to do that she must help her brothers and friends to stop Pestilence. As she helps she meets and falls in love with Runa's brother Arik, which causes him to to travel to hell. As Arik tried to get out of hell, he falls in love with Limos and as Limos helps Arik, she falls in love with him.
review 2: I'm not sure what it is about this series but when the main supernatural protagonist is a woman I can't seem to get into it as much. I felt that way about Sin's book and now I feel the same about Limos'. I don't know whether it is because I picture
... more the four horsemen to be men or what but the whole bride of satan and chastity belt thing seemed a little naff. Also, they just pissed off Satan and nothing really happened in retaliation???? Sure, Lucifer had a bit of a go but nothing really major. The only real badass in this series seems to be Pestilence. Still, I did enjoy Arik's character and the shit he had to deal with. All in all, quite readable but nothing like the zing of the first four books less
