review 1: I had high expectations about this after reading The Hypnotist - but the book didn't meet them. The book is way to long and have all sort of small stories from people with little connection to the plot. There was only two parts where you got that extra heartbeat and wanted to read a little bit faster. I think this mostly is more a book of information about ammunision and weapon trading between countries than a crimenovel. I think I'll wait to read the next book, in case that's similar to this.
review 2: Unconventional Swedish police detective Joona Linna is investigating the unexplained death of a young woman found on a drifting cabin cruiser. He suspects murder and is proven right, but this is just them beginning of a string of killings apparently by a profess... moreional killer. Investigation by Joona and other government agencies eventually turn over a conspiracy involving illegal arms shipments. A good read that will keep you up to finish it. less
