review 1: I can't say that this was anywhere near the best teen spy book I have read. I felt as the though the main character didn't fill the role I had expected her to take from the impression I got from the burb. I felt as though even at the end she doesn't know what she has been caught up in thought I have a feeling the next book is likely to be more what I was expecting from this book.But just a warning to those expecting a action packed book that there are quite long periods where not much happens.
review 2: Loved this book. I finished it in two days, which is hard to do with two toddlers and an out-of-town husband. Engaging story line, memorable characters. A consistently quirky, snarky voice. Laura is a master of misdirection as she keeps the reader guessing about... more who's good and bad and what everyone is really up to. Completely unpredictable--right up to the end, I wasn't sure how it would all turn up. Overall, a fabulous read. Thank you, Laura! Can't wait for book 2! less
