review 1: Utterly speechless..., I have never and will never read a book such as this again, it's unique, differnt, rare and everything I ever dreamed of when I said I wanted to read something 'new'. You don't know what's happened but next thing you know is that your pulled into a world full of hurt, betrayal, lies, but also love and most importantly Hope. This book, won't hide any of the horrors, it is raw with the truth of a life we live in, and that Rhine lives in too.I stayed up long into the night replaying every detail, life and death into one collage of a troubled yet beautiful life that Rhine fights to keep right till the end. This is a book Not easily forgotten. But by far it is one of the best books I have read.
review 2: Overall, one of the most underrated series
... more in YA in my opinion. This series is a must read. I didn't even want to read it, I picked it up because it was the only thing available to pass the time and wound up absolutely falling in love with it. My main problem though, is this: Book 3. I feel like after how amazing the first 2 books were, book 3 was a little bit of a let down. I mean, it still kept me reading, but as much as I hate to say it, I found the end to be totally unfulfilling. Though, this could have very well been on purpose. After all, every story can't have a happy ending, but there was just something about the way it all happened. Still though, well worth the read. less
