The Sociopath Diaries
review 1: I don't usually like teen books. Too much angst. But maybe its my own sickness, but when you add a reluctant sociopath to the mix..it seems to work for me. :) This story was well written, with an engaging sociopath. The lead female character was immature even for a high school girl and made me really not like her and hope she would die at some point. The writing style allowed you to feel their emotions and see through their eyes. The book was well written, however unless she comes out with part two soon, I might have had my fill of YA female angstiness for the year. The abrupt ending that so many ebook writers are using doesn't really make you want to read the next book either. I just wanted to see who would die next. I really want a conclusion at the end of a ... morebook.
review 2: went in with a couple of friends reading this book.. started reading and was all OKAY.. umm yah book fits the title..then got a little further in and was lulled into a false sense of security thinking okay this book isn't so bad.. it is sort of reading like a young adult romance a bit.. boy and girl date.. go to high school.. he has demons yadda yadda.. then BAM Lauren Hammond SMACKS you in the face ... so you read and read and read and are like WTH?? and OMG is that who I think it is?? OH NO HE DIDN't!! AND OH NO PLEASE NOOOO!!! then its over.. and your all WTF did I just read and where the hell is book 2!!I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!! less

Really Liked it. But I hate cliff hangers. Can't wait for the follow up.
