review 1: Bufff…. ha sido lento en algunas partes, me ha recordado a Real o Beautiful Disaster en otras, la trama de fondo no es mala pero me parece poco desarrollada y luego en este libro no pasa nada!! Quiero decir, un buen libro debe tener introducción, cuerpo y desenlace y a éste la falta completamente un buen desenlace. Una escena dramática, un peligro del que se salven, algo, pero ella esperando en casa de Sean a que regrese y le explique no es suficiente para mí.
review 2: So things I liked.....I'm currently trying to drudge my way through 'This Man' and there were a couple of similar scenes (pulling her off the dance floor and threatening current dance partner for example)that were just done so much better. Sean is a good alpha, he's strong and sure and fir... morem but at the same time can show his compassion and love without any trouble. I like that when he's aggressive, there's a reason and he can instantly flick back to being soft and sweet. I like the conflicted nature of his character and that everything he's ever done wrong has been with the right motivation. I like that Hadlee gives him shit sometimes and doesn't just put up with all his crap.Things I didn't like so much.....The cover - what exactly is happening in that scene???? Hadlee's panic attacks happened like every fifty seconds, literally ANYTHING could set her off and then all of a sudden, she miraculously got over it. The last few chapters - woah - can we slow things down a bit please? We covered a few weeks in the first 80% and then the last bit was like six months or something. It's a series, take your time! The ending - I am thoroughly confused as to what happened there, but refuse to read the 'first chapter' bit of the next one so I guess I'll have to stay perplexed for a while.Overall, a decent read, looking forward to the next one. less
