A Bookmobile Cat Mystery
review 1: I really enjoyed Lending a Paw. The narrator, Minnie had a good sense of humor and an enjoyable voice. As a fellow member of the under 5 foot club, I could easily relate to her many #ShortWomanProblems and found them incredibly amusing. I was also pleasantly surprised at how interesting Minnie's life as a librarian was. Before reading this, I didn't imagine life would be all that exciting for a librarian, but Laurie Cass weaved in just enough detail to keep me engaged in the chronicles of this traveling small-town librarian. Another thing that I liked about the book was that the mystery didn't get lost in the midst of day to day activities either, which tends to be a hazard in cozies. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this debut and I can definitely see mys... moreelf sticking with the rest of the series. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the cozy mystery genre, especially fans of the Aurora Teagarden mysteries (although I personally liked Lending a Paw better).
review 2: I'm sorry, but I just couldn't finish this book. When I read this book all I thought was "OMG, how long can a chapter be??" and this is not a good sign, so I decided to stop reading it. I couldn't really get into this book, I didn't really like the main character, the cat was cute though. There were just too many other characters and a lot of unnecessary and uninteresting conversations. Maybe this series is just not for me. less

Fun book and loved how the cat controlled her person, like they do. Story was good also.
