review 1: In this novel, Camelia starts hearing voices, and not voices out loud, but voices in her head. Her fear is higher because her aunt hears voices too, and Camelia doesn't want to end up like her aunt, who has basically gone crazy. The voices are telling her that she is ugly and useless. However, Camelia realizes that they are not talking about her, but they are actually talking about someone who is in danger. Camelia makes it her mission to help whoever it is that is in trouble. It is yet another situation where this person has been stalked and is eventually taken. Camelia feels as though she needs to save them because first, she has had situations liked this, and second, she is the one hearing voices and having hallucinations. Camelia is led to believe that the person in tr... moreouble is one person, yet she later finds out that she was wrong. Over the course of this book, her psychometric powers get stronger, and kind of over power her. She eventually tells many friends about her powers, and her parents end up finding out about them after she is taken to a hospital because she has an attack. In the end, Camelia succeeds, and she also learns that she will need to accept her powers, not be afraid of them.
review 2: I read this book two summers ago, I went to Barnes and Noble and this book just caught my eye so I bought it, (not knowing that it was in a four-book series), but this is the third book out of the whole series, so I missed the first and second book!! But when I read this book, it was SO great!! When I look for books, I look for thrillers, intense, scary, etc. I'm more into those kind of books because I feel like they drag me in more. When I read the back of "Deadly Little Voice" I was automatically into it!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For those who haven't read this book it is basically about this teenage girl named Camelia Hammond and she has just been told by her parents that her mentally ill aunt is coming to live with them! And if you were Camelia you probably wouldn't want a mentally ill person staying with you, right?! well, Camelia is having mixed feelings about her aunt because she hasn't really met her before so she doesn't really know what to do, so she arrives and right then and there Camelia wants to get to know her! so as the days pass on with her aunt living there Camelia figures out that her aunt has a special power called psychometry (which is the ability to sense the future through touch.) and as she gets to explaining what psychometry is Camelia realizes she has the same symptoms her aunt has, the symptoms are basically physically harassing voices in the head, which camellia has experienced the voices call her; ugly, fat, waste of time, nothing, nobody, etc.! and when she tells her aunt the things she's been hearing, she tells camellia "well, I control the things that happen to me with art, I paint when this happens to me and it calms me down completely," the Camelia says "well I sculpt, I'm actually working on something right now, its a figure skater." when Camelia's aunt see's the sculpt she is startled and says "this is terrible, has anything bad happened to anyone you care about?!" and Camelia is puzzled and say "Not that I know of, why?" and Camelia's aunt says "Because someone is in terrible danger!" who do you think would be in danger?, who is the victim?, do you want to find out? read the book "deadly Little Voices" and read about these voices that are causing Camelia and this person complete danger! less
