Blue is for Nightmares
review 1: Stacey Brown is a Wiccan who has horrifying nightmares that often come true. During her years at boarding school, Jacob starts to have dreams about her death, and over the semester they start dating. Trouble arises when on vacation Jacob falls overboard and loses his memory, forgetting Stacey. Now, if she doesn't want to lose him, she must fight for him and go to Colorado and make him remember her. This is the fifth installment in a series, and the weirdest thing is while this one is a graphic novel, the other four aren't. I thought that was really weird and served no purpose. It didn't feel right and seemed random. While the other books were entertaining, this one was lackluster, and I would only recommend it to someone who has read the other four, but even then I th... moreink this is a book that can easily be skipped. It's appropriate for most ages, but would most likely be best enjoyed by high school students.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. Black is for Beginnings is the fifth book in the Blue is for Nightmare series but it's a graphic novel. I was so eager to read this to find out what happened between Stacey and Jacob, so I had Half Price Books find it in another store and ship it over got it yesterday and finished it yesterday. It was over so quick. The pictures made the characters look so young and cartoony. I feel like this book could have just been the epilogue at the end of the fourth book. I would have much rather imagine it in my own head and enjoyed it as a final chapter. I still liked the book because I really liked the whole series. less
