review 1: Deadly Little Lies by Laurie Faria Stolarz is the most interesting book I have read so far. Not only is it mysterious but dramatic as well. What makes this book so interesting and what I loved about it the most is that it relates to a daily life problem now at days. Not only do teenagers go through traumatic things but any human being is exposed to them. I couldn't have said anything bad about this book. Deadly Little Lies is an excellent book for anyone who enjoys teenage romance, mystery, suspense etc. Sadly people have to go through things like Camelia Hammod did. She was kidnapped and stalked with horrible and disturbing messages sent to her daily leaving her with nothing but fear. For example, Camelia Hammod was saved by her boyfriend Ben Carter and he loved her so m... moreuch to put his life on the line like that. But of course, as a normal human instinct we have that fear of getting hurt so he decided to let’s just say leave for good. Unlike Camelia, she didn't leave for good and her threatening messages returned. Unexpected things like that are what kept me anxious to know what was going to happen next. In the book, a specific question that Camelia asked herself that really caught my attention was , “Can you go crazy without knowing that you’re crazy”. For a good 10 minutes I paused and tried to figure out the difference from being crazy or just going through something crazy. I guess I took so much time into trying to figure this out because I thought that it was devastating if you don’t know the difference because you get confused and lost in the mess. I won’t spoil the whole book for you but if you are interested in this book get it now! If you enjoy thinking and having that suspense in your heart this book is perfect for you.
review 2: From the first book to this one, I would have to say this one by far is better then the first. At times our main character Camelia can become annoying as she doesn't seem to learn much from mistakes and past happenings. Wes and Kimmie are still as amazing and quirky as usual. Throughout the book you will feel suspense, see romance, mystery, and plot twists. Definitely better then the first. Can't wait to check out the third book. less
