review 1: It's a little sappier than Last of the Chosen, but that can be forgiven, afterall we're dealing with queens and knights and....well you get the picture....the writing becomes more knights of the round table heroic, the characters set high standards for themselves so the language suits them, though to me it's a bit altruistic for my tastes. Still, I loved the book and anxiously look forward to the next in the series!
review 2: I enjoyed the first book in the series, and really wanted to like Knights of the Chosen. Although Last of the Chosen was fantasy in Space instead of sci-fi, it was still an enjoyable read. Knights of the Chosen is not.The story is bogged down in unending space battles, countless knighting of various characters, and explanations of how inc
... moreredible Terrans are. Ground battles are handled better than their space counterparts, but still drag on for too long. There is little differentiation between characters, and even heroes from the first novel all speak with the same voice. The story seems to have spun out of control and the reader is left with a rambling tale in which little happens despite its incredible length. I really enjoyed the first novel, but Knights of the Chosen has little going for it. It is not worth reading, let alone buying. less
