A Cats in Trouble Mystery
review 1: Widowed "cat lady" Jillian agrees to foster Clyde, a charismatic cat who returned to his owner's house over 200 miles from where he was staying, only to find the man dead. Between Clyde's roaming ways and the press interest in a human interest story, Jillian is busy enough, but when the police find out that Clyde's owner was murdered, things really get crazy. Who would want to kill a man who is rapidly dying of cancer? The man's strange family become suspects, and after the second death Birdie Roberts, a friend of Jillian's best friend also becomes involved.
review 2: The latest in the Cats in trouble series has just come out and like a starving child, I jumped right on it. I wasn’t disappointed either. This time Jillian Hart is fostering one of the huges
... moret house cats imaginable. You see, Mr. Jeffrey, the cat’s owner was sick and dying. He wanted Clyde to be taken care of so he sent him to live with a relative. Clyde, apparently had a mind of his own and a heart bigger than he was because he ran away and months later ended up back at Mr. Jeffrey’s house, just after the man passed on. Clyde, knew something was wrong so he started crying and woke everyone up. That’s when the town of Mercy was over run with reporters wanting to do a human interest story on Clyde and the murders began. This book is a story of love, betrayal, forgiveness, and greed. If there is ever a series or a person who could turn this dog person into a cat person, it is this series and Jillian Hart. The cats in her books are wonderful. This one had me guessing right to the end as to who knew who the killer was. There were also a few times the tears fell and the smile broke out. If you want to see what I’m talking about, just pick up the book. I promise you won’t be able to put it down. less
