review 1: Plot: 17 year old Aaron Stevens becomes the target of a bank robber after stumbling upon their crime. My Thoughts:Writing: Not. Good. It was incredibly difficult to keep track of everything that was taking place due to the author thinking it was cute to keep floating back and forth between POVs. by the time something significant happened, it was just a big jumble. It was like trying to watch 5 different shows on 5 different televisions as the same time. And as any rational person would realize, it doesn't work.Aaron: I'm not particularly sure why Aaron was chosen as the star of this novel. There was nothing about him that made me develop any type of feelings toward him, negative or otherwise. He was just boring. Tremblay: Another day, another stupid villain. My first though... moret regarding him was he must be some kind of indestructible robot or something to keep recovering from this injuries he had. He was struck multiple times on multiple body parts by a damn crowbar and I'm supposed to believe that he can easily continue to run around and murder people with impunity? Nope. That is not remotely believable.Side Characters: Just plain old stupid and useless. Nothing to write home about.Overall: The Pineville Heist was basically another kindle freebie that I wasted my time on. 1 star.
review 2: Horrible.I picked this up, because I had two hours to kill before work, and someone had left it in the break room. I should have done something more productive like take a nap.The pacing was nauseatingly fast, the protagonist was a cardboard cutout, the supporting charters were like holograms that the author would remember every once and a while to fill the scenery with, the action scenes were receptive games of hot potato with the weapon of the moment, the M. Night Shyamalan style twist were grating and out of the bloody blue, and the Antagonist ranged from pathetic to friggin' terminator.Easily one of the worst stories I have read in a long time. Chambers need to go spend some time honing his skill on Fanfiction.net . less

Very exciting, better than a roller-coaster. I could not put it down, read it in one sitting.

Not as suspenseful as everyone said it was. Good read. Too much foul language for my taste.
