review 1: This book was my gateway drug. Sex, Action, and Sci-Fi.It rocked my world a little bit.For a few hours anyway.(this was the beginning of the end of cable for me)*smiles fondly at the cover*I think it was free on kindle years ago when I was horrified at the idea of actually buying a book after spending a few hundred on the device.I actually really liked it.I wonder if I would feel the same way after reading hundreds of books off "top lists" etc.Might be time for a "re-read"!!!!
review 2: It had potential to be such a better story. The main male character lost his appeal when they let him weaken his temperment due to his attraction to the main female character. I feel that they used too much sex for filler, or maybe that was the plan for the story to begin with... more. My biggest issue really was the change in the male character. I honestly hate when you have a story with this "intimidating" and "scary" guy and he turns into a complete sap when he finds the girl he wants. Surely they can stay intimidating and scary and still fall in love? less
