review 1: Another taut crime thriller from Kaaberbol and Friis. Nina Borg is a nurse who sometimes works in an underground network dedicated to helping immigrants to Denmark. Occasionally they jeopardize her health more than she improves theirs. The authors' tendency to write each chapter from the point of view of a different, seemingly unrelated character can be quite confusing for a while, but it's a delight when it all comes together. I wasn't as caught up as I was by their first book, The Boy in the Suitcase, but I would have given Invisible Murder 3 1/2 stars if it were possible on this site. The denouement was almost a complete surprise.
review 2: Even better than the first book in the series (“The Boy in the Suitcase”). A Danish nurse/social worker accidentall
... morey finds herself in the midst of a deadly plot when she goes to a Roma (don't say Gypsy) hideout for illegal immigrants to treat sick children there. As usual, the authors immediately throw five seemingly unrelated plots at the reader so it’s a bit confusing at first but then they slowly draw them together. Also as usual, strong but subtle feminist commentary throughout. Bechdel test: Pass. less

Dark, but very good. I was sucked into the story and thought it was well written.
