review 1: I enjoyed this book and several years ago thought about painting my nightmares...much the same as the polaroid art in this unique book. Chapters of particularly creepiness are Sandy's Music, Ghost Bride and the best one of all "Dollhouse." This very minute I am listening to Dead Kennedys Kill the Poor, which I have never heard before. The concept of recording insect movement is different as well. This would make a great indie movie!
review 2: I really liked this book. The most unique aspect of it is the way the author switched voices throughout the book. Not just people, but sometimes 1st person, sometimes third person- sounds like it would be hard to follow, but he handled it in such a way that I really liked the change in perspective. There were a few things
... morethat I think he overlooked or just never answered which always leaves me wanting to know, but all in all a good fun read. less

Too many point of view changes made me ever more reluctant to pick this book back up.

Gout is a graphic novelist, even without pictures.
