review 1: I can't say I didn't enjoy it, I did and the main story line was gripping enough however I feel there are serious flaws in the writing of this novel. Firstly the amount of cups of tea that are mentioned is totally uncalled for! Secondly the way the Author deals with the depression angle. Suicide should not be taken lightly and it's kinda made to sound as though anyone who's depressed will go and kill themselves. Also the fact that it's mentioned a lot that depressed people want to be alone, this is very much true but in the book it is in fact encouraged. There's no mention of getting the girl help to deal with the issues. I'm realy mixed on this as being someone who deals with depression and anxiety I feel it could have been handled better. As for the ending... Well that w... moreas so far fetched and way too much!
review 2: Outro excelente livro de Lesley Pearse! Este é passado numa época bem mais recente, mas ainda assim, não deixou de ser surpreendentemente bom. Há muitos acontecimentos maus, uns atrás dos outros. No entanto, Eva (a personagem principal) revela ser uma pessoa forte, mas com o seu limite. Gostei muito da personagem por essa mesma razão - provou que também tinha os seus momentos menos bons. A história, em si, está muito bem construída - o inicio e o meio está muito cativante. Como aspecto mais negativo, tenho de realçar que o fim pareceu muito apressado (gostava que tivesse sido mais alongado e melhor explicado!). No geral, mais uma grande livro! less
