review 1: Good first book in the series, grabbed my attention and made me wanna keep reading.Nic was HOT! Loved his character and loved that he ws prepared to do anything for his family.Lauren annoyed me a little, kinda felt like she coulda eased up a bit on him a bit quicker than she did, but I know he ahd broken her heart I just felt like the secret she kept for all those years was pretty bad too and if he could forgive her without much of a fuss why couldn't she get over it, but thats me :)Loved Josh, he was a cool kid, cool character!Awesome first book, looking forward to the next!
review 2: I really enjoyed reading this...even though I see lots of reviews that didn't. I think the problem with this book for so many was the time constraint. Most of the book occurred w... moreithin 48 hrs, then fast forwarded 8 days, and then the end. So because of that, it was hard to have much character development. We didn't read about their past, Nick didn't really woo her, and the whole pretense of the wedding was not necessary. This was very much a fluff read, but it was fun and a little sexy at the same time. 3.5 stars. less
