review 1: I have read many paranormal romance books over the years, and I must say that "Burden" was among some of my favorites. It was exceptional, captivating, and very entertaining. I loved the characters, especially Hawke and Echo, and the storyline was superb. I mean, how can you go wrong when the characters have such cool names? That's right, you can't. I loved how unique and intriguing the story was - it certainly kept my interest throughout. I even read it in one day, if that's any indication of how amazing of a read it was. I have never come across bear shifters before, but I must say that I loved it, and I can't wait to read Martha and Rev's story in "Hearten"!
review 2: I really enjoyed this book because it is fresh and different to the other shifter books. Th... moreis book is about bear shifters. I was recommended it by a friend and I was a bit wary that I might not like it because even though I have read a book from this author before, which I really enjoyed, I thought that I might not like the whole bear shifter story but I am pleased it exceeded my expectations and I devoured this book. The story line flowed well, there was some funny bits here and there aswell. If you like the possessive, sweet, guy character then this book will be great for you. Looking forward to book 2!! less
