review 1: Ohhh Breaker, Breaker, Breaker! How I love thee! This is a short novella closing in the gap between the end of Anguish and the prologue! It's an account of the real struggles of a new relationship! Breaker and Ash learn to trust each other even when it's hard! It reminded me of when I was in college and you are trying to figure out a new relationship! It's a great fun read about love, insecurities and fighting for the ones who mean the most!
review 2: Lila Felix is a goddess of the written word and one of my top ten writers of all time and I'm a pernickety bitch so that's saying a lot for her writing skills. AnguiSH was actually the first book of Lila's I ever read and it got me hooked so bad that I devoured her whole Love and Skate saga in roughly two weeks t... morehereafter. It was such a wonderful story and to be able to go back and revisit Breaker and Ash again and delve into a part of their story we weren't privy to before was awesome! Heart Breaker takes place before the epilogue of AnguiSh so at least we know we're getting a happy-ever-after even before we start this gem of a novella.As usual brilliant writing and sharp snappy dialogue between our hero and heroine. I love how much these two characters connect to one another and how deeply they love but I also like how realistic their relationship is because no matter how much or how deep you love there is also outside forces going to be working to take it down but Ash is such a kick ass pro-active lady (insert hilarious sneaky ninja like stalking here) that she can handle it like a pro!If you enjoyed AnguiSH this companion novella is a must to get your fix of Breaker and Ash less
