review 1: This was a really sweet story. In the beginning Crown was a complete jerk to everyone, and they all secretly hated him. When he got hurt nobody seemed to even care, I am glad Crown finally realized who his real friends were. He thought Lyra was just going to fall into his bed like all the other girls, but she didn't and he had to take the time to get to know her. Crown and Lyra got to know each other things just kind of fell into place. I wish I could have had a hot neighbor when I lived in my apartment.
review 2: Dethroning Crown had been teased for awhile now and I've been itching to get my hands on it. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed when I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for review. Crown Sterling is an egotistical, arrogant, self centered
... more butt that doesn't know any better. Many times I wanted to yell at home and smack him upside the head to knock some sense into him. He thinks he is king of the world and doesn't have to do anything or be nice to anybody. It's just not in his standards of life. Lyra is the sweetest woman. She is confident with herself but has some quirks that hurts my heart. She makes you work for her love and friendship but that makes me love her even more. Lyra and Crown are the king and queen for each other but they have hard work and valuable lessons to get to their own thrones. Lila has written amazing characters that you hate to love and you just can't help it. With each book of hers that I read she gets better and better. So yes pull up a comfy throne and fall in love with Crown and Lyra. less
