review 1: When the reviews on amazon were full of words like "too dark" and "warning this book is very emotionally unsettling" I was like this sounds like it's for me. I have read darker.However this wasn't a favorite for me. The plot is for the main character to exact revenge on a gang of brothers by changing her face and going back as a friend. But the main character is just not smart enough to pull this plot off. And no matter how hungry you are for revenge, you NEVER agree to be the mistress if the man who lead a gang rape on you! Other things about this plot also didn't add up for me, in the end it wasn't a well thought out storyline. Shame because the idea had a lot of potential!
review 2: Je n'ai pas réussi une seule fois à m'attacher à l'héroïne malgré son ... morepassé qui pèse sacrément lourd. Ça se lit vite, c'est sûr, mais j'ai l'impression d'avoir survolé tout ça sans jamais me sentir concernée. L'histoire de base est originale, bien que sacrément hard (âme sensible s'abstenir), mais je n'ai vraiment pas accroché à ce que l'auteur en a fait. Je ne pense pas lire la suite car je me suis ennuyée, j'étais à 10 000 km de l'histoire tout le long de ma lecture, dommage. less
