review 1: DANE-Way too short but I loved it. It's fast pace and has a great ending. Dane appears back in town after 10yrs to find the love of his life has a son and no one in her life to get in his way. Love story's with big family. Can't hurt have four hot brothers.THOMAS-Too short but it is jam packed with everything. I love how u can easily fit these in ur day. Thomas meet the mysterious Cat after she almost runs over the O'neil cow. Cat has a secret life that Thomas want to b apart if but can she give up everything for him with only knowing him a few days. I love how the brother fall hard and every quick. I find u don't get bored or lost in these story's bcos they move so quickly. Great ending, can't wait for big bad Cooper to fall.RILEY-WOW hot and sexy with lots of toys and a ... moremysterious pearl that has bad guys after it. Riley falls for maggie as soon as she enters coffee shop. This book, like the others so far is too short but u do get an inside to Cooper and his naughty toy chest.COOPER-Considering Cooper is seen as a Dom not a lot of action happen between Cooper and Claire. Cade is introduced to the series he's Cooper's FBI cousin. Did enjoy it but was hoping for more down n dirty sex from Cooper but good ending.MACKENZIE XMAS-Very short, no real build up to story just jumps straight into it, so u must read blurbs but like all other Mackenzie brothers story I loved it.
review 2: Dane: Quick read. Definitely could have been longer. I like that the couple had history, so falling together so quick was much more believable. Would have liked to see more of the transition after Dane stayed in town for good. Not sure if his story will carry over in the next books, but considering how short they are, I doubt it. I plan on reading the other brothers' stories. Not sure which familiy members it moves on to after that, but series seems decent enough to continue.Thomas: Didn't like this one as much as Dane's story. Reminded me too much of Lori Foster's Sawyer book. Moving on to Riley's story.Riley: Riley seems to like antagonizing his brothers. He seems to make me chuckle the most of the brothers in the first 2 books. It is hard to form opinions of characters when the books are so short, but I think Riley is my favorite brother. Hoping his story is interesting. On chapter 3 and the author is losing me. Who uses someone else's (a someone they only just briefly met) sex toys? It is going to take a lot to come back from this one. On the upside, I am looking forward to Cooper's story. :) I hate when I put expectations on books. This was mostly a disappointment. Maybe because it was too short. Moving on....Cooper: I liked this one, tho the lack of BDSM from a story originating in a BDSM club is disappointing. Just saying. A Mackenzie Christmas: cute story. Abrupt ending, the very end seemed either too rushed or it shouldn't have included the part about Dane and Charlie and Cade- tho I assume that is for the seque to his book. less
