review 1: Addison Holmes a cross between Stephanie Plum and Brandy Alexander. She can make you laugh, even when facing death. A hot sexy detective and an equally hot sexy FBI agent vie for her attention. Yet, so far she is smart enough to stick with the detective. Addison is on the case of tracking down a lost heir, not easy to do when the sperm bank was illegal and the doctor crazy as a loon. Stumbling onto a pot factory in an senior living facility and winding up in the middle of the drug trade. Only Addison could solve three cases in one by sheer luck and stupidity
review 2: I read all three books over the past few weeks so I am going to write a general review. These books have been compared to the Stephanie Plumb books by other reviewers. I would agree that they are ... morevery similar. However, in these books, I like that you can see Addison Holmes mature and that she is more decisive in her relationships. There seems to be more of a mystery. I like that Addison doesn't always get herself in trouble by not telling someone what is going on. However, I still love Lula's character and she almost always makes me laugh out loud. I would recommend these books to others! less
