review 1: Fascinating to discover this after reading Yellin's new (hilarious) memoir. This novel seems to be the first part of her story and it is a warm, generous and wrenching tale of two people who learn about love in all its aspects. Written with the sharp observational skills she displays in The Last Blind Date and with the same buoyant narration, it is ultimately a heartbreaking yet irresistible story.

It's a touching, moving, tragicomedic love story written with great kindness and generosity toward its characters. All are flawed. All are tremendously honest and endearing.
