review 1: This is a sweet realistic mystery about a middle school age girl, Sunday Fowler, trying to find her own way in the midst of a high-energy family. Her relationships with the reclusive librarian, Ben Folger as well as her hard-working, always patient mother, are the best parts of the book. What Sunday finds out about herself towards the end is important and though somewhat predictable I would have liked more time to savor her new knowledge and reveal alternative possibilities especially as they related to her Alma friend, Jude.
