review 1: This is my first Lindy Zart book and it will NOT be my last. I really enjoyed her sense of humor and the funny, crazy and complex characters she created. "Dating Husbands" is a reference to the central character, Bianca's, line of business. She is a PI who investigates husbands suspected to cheating on their wives. The heart of the story is, what drove Bianca into this line of business? What made her hate men so much and close herself off to the possibility of love? These are the questions she contemplates and comes to terms with during this novel. And what prompts her to do so much introspection? Well, that would be Drew, a man who is also dealing with a lot of his own demons. I really enjoyed the two of them together and all the other shenanigans with Bianca's sister, co... moreusin, parents, and clients (past and present). A fun, sweet, book, which made me very hopeful.
review 2: "What the Flip;" Dating Husbands was a continuous comical laugh-out loud romance novel. Without relating to much information, I will never ever see another wig the same way again. For Bianca one bad apple did spoil the whole bunch for her, leaving her alone and bitter. She has an interesting P.I. job, an eccentric dysfunctional family (wait until uncle Bill is introduced) and the only obstacle in her life is the inability to love herself much less someone else. In comes Drew and the rest you need to read the novel to find out. I am amazed with Lindy Zart's versatility in writing different genre books. I am glad because in my opinion, I made a good choice reading Dating Husbands last and sad because since reading all of Lindy Zart's books it has left me in a melancholy state wanting more. Looking forward to reading more upcoming work from Lindy! less
