review 1: Hilary and Alessandro have a past that can only be healed by the future. While Hilary has found a way to disguise her past with a don't care facade, Alessandro had come to deal with the ghost of his past. Only to find out that there are some things in the past that cannot be just taken care of.Mallory, I could choke, beat, kick, maybe even at points on a bad day stab. She has that big sister thing to an exact science of annoyance. She wants to dictate Hilary's life.
review 2: Surprisingly this second book was way better than the first. Second chances and redemption are the main theme. Many twists and turns although some parts were a bit too wordy and bordering on boring, it redeemed itself towards the end. It wasn't just about the story of Hilary and Alessan... moredro but more of Hilary and Mallory and how Henri fitted in between. I love how the sisters really loved each other and how overprotective Mallory is of Hilary. I guess for Alessandro, going back to his past made him whole again and rekindled what was lost and loved. less
