review 1: As with most series I have been reading lately, I feel the last one isn't nearly as good as the first. There were some major problems for me in this book, though. First, I felt like she did some foreshadowing in the first two books that were never answer in the final book. For instance, why spend so much time and heavy emphasis on taking pictures to preserve time in the second book when it barely receives one or two lines of attention in the 3rd book. Also, she kept mentioning Sofia int he first two books. All that came out of that is a one-liner that indicates Sofia is a future daughter. What's with that?Because these books were so different, I really felt like I was reading after-thought sequels rather than one compelling story that was broken into three different books.... more The books had the same characters and kind of the same story, but the plots were so vastly different. It seems to me that she thought up the stories as she went along rather than knowing the whole plot line at the beginning. That leads to very disjointed work.If authors insist on writing sequels, they still need to do the work of making one complete story line before they ever publish the first book.
review 2: Ok, so I think it was just a little too Juvenile for me. I mean, I am old. :) So for youth I would recommend it. It's super clean, lots of action and teen-love packed! It's a fun story, don't get me wrong. And this 3rd book added some fun locations and new minor characters that were super likable. But for me it was extremely wordy for the story it was (3 books was just too much) and repetitive. AND the story has too many holes and unexplained or supported sci-fi threads that I couldn't enjoy it enough. I think adult sci-fi/fantasy (and my hubby) have ruined me- i'm super picky with time travel and sci fi-y plots. :) But I had to finish it and there were parts where I couldn't set it down. So...3 stars. less

The final installment in the adventure romance of the Hourglass Door trilogy. Abby has traveled through the door only to be assailed by Zo who violently takes away her memories. She has to try to remember who she is and her purpose. Will the loop of time be closed? Or will Zo win everything since she can't remember what she needs to do?Early teen or romance addicts will especially enjoy these books. I enjoyed the character development but wished it had a little more to the story.

This was delightful and I was totally sucked into this world (pun intended). I appreciated the ending and was glad that there were no zombies in it! Ha! If I had one wish it would have been for a little more epilogue. Clean and interesting -what more can you ask for? After I read the first book and realized it was a trilogy I went directly to the library and checked out book 2 and 3! Read them in 2 days! When I like something I usually read fast and long!

A satisfying conclusion.
