review 1: Even from the beginning I've liked Mark. I knew he had his whole 'want for control' crap but even so I knew he wasn't as messed up as Chris.This book was intriguing. I really enjoyed reading from Mark's POV. There's much more to him when you're inside his head. So I guess this book was to introduce Mark's new love interest. Crystal, I must say I really like how she's honest and blunt and confident. Perfect for Mark and for once she's gives him everything he never wanted in a woman but finds her irresistible still.INTERESTING!!!
review 2: I was so excited for this novella. I love a male POV and I absolutely loved Mark. I am so sorry to say that I am a bit disappointed. What happened to the controlling dominate that I fell in love with? Looking around inside Mark... more’s head, he almost seemed….soft? Within moments of meeting Crystal, everything that I thought he was up to this point vanished. I like Crystal, but I think this character was given way too much power way too soon.Having said all that, I won’t give up. I’m moving forward with this series. Lots of questions still remain unanswered and I intend to hang on for the ride. less
