review 1: I enjoyed the message to this book - take risks, step out of your comfort zone. When Rachel passes and gives everyone a specific task that involves stepping out of that comfort zone, her friends are shocked. I found it interesting that Rachel gave very specific tasks to each of her friends to complete and they didn't realize really what Rachel's motivation was behind it. Watching each of the characters grow in the book is hope that stepping out of your comfort zone is a beautiful thing.
review 2: Kudos for The Proper Care and Maintenance of Friendship! I identified the most with Kate, the mom who needed to jump out of a plane to remember who she was before kids. But I think Jo, the single businesswoman, was the sweetest surprise of all. Loved her journey in whi... morech the reader got to know her slowly as she discovered the courage to know herself and heal the hurt child inside her. And, of course, I had a crush on Sam.
