review 1: 2.5 starsThis just went wrong in so many ways. The writing was really awkward and choppy, and the characters not at all developed. I'm not sure Lisa Worrall has ever been on a ranch or seen a cowboy? Because the entire setting felt very generic. When Vance and Adam meet, it's like instant connection, and after three days, well, they're totally in love, lust, and everything in between. There were also many, many typos, including inconsistencies with names (Vance's full name is mentioned three times, and each time it's different). The contrived plot and viscious villain just added to the soap opera melodrama central feel. I love me some yummy cowboys, but I can't recommend this one.
review 2: 3.5 StarsI liked this story. At first, Adam came across as a prissy, bi
... moretchy, bottom. But as the story progressed I warmed to him. It didn't hurt that I love cowboy stories. I love to read about life on the ranch. Although the incident with Midnight had me grabbing for tissues, I really liked reading about Vance's home life: his mom, losing his dad, the ranch, his animals ... you know, life. Although the bad guy was obviously bad, the plot thickened with Adam's inherent deception. And, the resolution was angsty enough for the emo in me. :)Bottom line: I love Lisa Worrall's stories. This one is a keeper. less

Had so much potential but it was rather dull, cheesy and just unimpressive.
