review 1: I loved this book. More often than not I am disappointed by sequels and I want to emphatically state: Junk Miles will not disappoint! The unique love triangle of Brenna-Jake-Saxon intensifies and satisfies. Yes, Brenna can be selfish and snobbish, but I love that she is self-aware and tries to work through her perceptions and perspectives. The characters are multi-faceted and Ms. Reinhardt's writing style adds plenty of twists to this angst filled YA drama. Looking forward to Slow Twitch and the final installment of this Sussex County story of three very real HS kids.
review 2: Loved this book!! I read it in one day and couldn't put it down. I'm still torn between both Saxon and Jake. I love them both. Brenna loves Jake, but she has feelings for Saxon too. I'm
... moreglad Brenna and Saxon had some time together in this book. Their relationship is kind of toxic though. Saxon is really a bad boy that makes stupid decisions, well, actually Jake does too, but I still wonder who Brenna will end up with in the end. Saxon seems relentless to constantly ruffle Brenna's feathers, so in the next book, I'm really excited to see how everything ends with this trio. Even though Brenna's heart is with Jake, there is still the tension between her and Saxon. Obviously, she hasn't truly gotten him out of her system. I look foward to seeing how it all plays out. less
