review 1: Very hot!!!! Now this was a very interesting love story. I love myself a bad boy, but never have i ever read a story where a bad girl is also present, and I loved it. It actually surprised me how much I enjoyed this book. It is a very different kind of romance, very very exciting and intriguing as I read to the early hours in the morning just to find out what the Youngblood's freakin story was! And it did not disappoint! I loved this book a lot more than Double Clutch although it was also good, but this story was more my personal taste. So if you haven't read it, do yourself a favor! Especially over break time seeing as you will not want to do anything other than read haha
review 2: im giving this book a high rating because lately ive been starting a bunch of b
... moreooks that i did not finish, so essentially crappy books that weren't keeping my attention or had too much angst in them. Liz Reinhardt is usually a hit or miss for me, i either love or i don't finish her books. I'm happy to report that this book was really a good read. i loved to hate the main characters. i hated/loved both Winch and Evan at different times in the book and i loved/hated Remy and i loved/hated Benelli, etc. it goes on. the only people i continued to hate throughout the book: Evan's grandparents and Winch's parents. There wasn't a lot of focus on Lala, at least not as much as I expected. I expected her to be more of an obstacle for the main couple but she sort of faded into the background after her one scene but there were still mentions of her sporadically in the book, but the character didn't appear and throw a tantrum like i expected, so that was sort of a pleasant surprise. Winch was really dreamy but there's definite angst with his problems that last through most of the book. It was a read that hooked me in from the beginning though and I finished it in 2 days, only taking a break to get a breather from some drama and when the storyline wasn't going how i wanted ;) overall, i loved the plot and relationship and HEA, the fact that they faced semi-realistic obstacles (the controlling family was realistic, the whole mafia-esque Hungarian cult thing that their family seemed to resemble was not realistic lol) i honestly really loved this book, probably a new favorite read. so it gets 4.8 stars, the -.2 because of the characters who i could never like. i wish it had an epilogue :( oh! and there was switching POV b/t Evan and Winch, which is my favorite, i love getting the guy's POV. i was sort of hoping Remy's book would come next, I really want to know what happens with him and his family, but I guess i'll have to wait and maybe read Benelli's story first, even though I'm not that interested in her as a character because 1) she was the "perfect" daughter who sacrificed her love because she knew her family would never approve *blech* get a backbone please and 2) she's friends with Lala, who sounds like an entitled bitch. Hopefully Benelli's book will pleasantly surprise me, otherwise that may be a book I skip less
